Brought Kenobi to the vet today, and got her set up for boosters and spay in a few weeks. Today's appointment coast 100, next will cost 400. Guh. And getting her to and from the vet was such a hassle, I have to bundler her up in a pillowcase, before shoving her into her case, then she'll writhe and trash about. It took three of us at the vet's to get her back him. She's my little terror. At least right now she's completely passed out.

Forgot to post the results, but OMG is was totally awesome. The breeder was really nice and sweet and her dogs were adorable. She has two females right now, and I think only one of them's pregnant. I can't remember now. Mostly because I totally fell in love with the smaller of them, who was a dark grey brindle, weighing at about 11 pounds and sweet as sugar. She's only having three puppies, so I'm crossing my fingers that one of them is black with the right markings.

Poor Chris got his phone run over multiple times. He left it on top of the car by accident as we were getting in after Timmies, and it fell off shortly after we started. It got totally busted.
He didn't get an iPhone.

Sunday I can't remember a damn thing of what I did. I think I did some groceries?
Monday I was supposed to go see Coraline with Steph, but she was too busy finishing her costume so it was a no go. I spent most of the day cleaning the apartment and pouting over my broken 360. A new 'Meet the X' video for TF2 came out yesterday, for Spy, and it's made me really miss TF2. And video games in general.
Man, I miss my 360.
Still haven't actually sent it in to be fixed yet. I should probably get on that, but since the Purolator's near the official lisence place... thing, I want to go get my M1 license at the same time. And I haven't studied for it yet. Yeah...

Today I went to the Shoppe to try and figure out what I'm doing with the Anime North thing, didn't really get any straight answers though. I guess I'm showing up at 10, getting a ride down there and then I don't know..? I'm hopefully gonna be crashing at a friend's house afterwards to enjoy some vacation time.
Right now I'm having a 30Rock marathon, drinking hot chocolate and enjoying life.

So I've just bought my tickets to FanExpo. AWESOME. I'm finally going to a comic convention. It's like a rite of passage.
And after months of heming and hawing, I've finally decided on what costume I shall wear. You ready?

Oh lord, Friday again? It's like I've been sleep walking through this damn week, and I wouldn't put that past being literal. It's been a rain week, which means nothing but clouds and cold air and a lack of will to do anything. But this morning, with a glance out the window it seems to have finally broke which is great news meaning I can go and get my groceries today.
Is payday today. For everyone but meeeee. I forgot how the system worked and since no one reminded me I didn't think of invoicing until it was exactly too late on Monday. It doesn't matter any huge deal though, as I still have wadloads of cash to keep me going until next paycheque. It also means that next paycheque will be hugely awesome.
And DAMMIT Firefox, cheque is the correct spelling.
Oh, and my laptop? FINALLY IN. I picked up Spore along with it and while I haven't uploaded the game yet, I've been transferring all my media over to it, in the slow way as I can't seem to figure out networking between the two computers. Managed to get it all hooked to my internet and Xbox though, huzzahrah.

And finally, while with it still being two months away, I've been trying to plan for this year's Fanexpo. It's the first convention I'll be going to in, what, 5 years without the Shoppe, and I'm woefully lost in searching for a hotel and figuring out the tickets and stuff (though those aren't on sale yet) I'm thinking I'll just spend a whole day looking up hotels and comparing and the whatnot. I'd ask around for favors from friends, but as I'm going with Stephris (though I will see the rest of my friends there, as we are all nerds and Jayme is moving practically next door) that'd be a little rude.
I'm also trying to figure a costume for the con, which Stephris say they're not doing so there's no team cosplay. My closest inkling is towards doing a female Comedian (Comedienne, if you will) as I saw the idea a while back and it stuck with me as an awesome, but moderately easy, costume but the weapons could get annoying and the idea as a whole is possible too manly. I'm also toying with Doctor Girlfriend, Birdgirl, or Green Lantern.
Eh, I'll probably just wear a Batman tshirt and be done with it. If we're going to be staying a hotel blocks away, I'll want as much comfort as possible.

Oh nutterbutters, the clouds are coming back. I'd better get on that shopping.

Our phoneline doesn't seem to be working. I just tried calling the rental service to try and reserve an apartment but there's no dialtone when I turn on the phone and after I dial the number... nothing. I even tried calling my cell in hopes that that might work, but nothing. And when I tried calling the rental with my cell, the phone reset. Twice.
Only a little creepy?
Yeah. A little.

I slept in this morning, took the dog for a walk, did some doodles, and am now cleaning the room. I stopped just to try the phoning and to find out that I'm cut off! If I couldn't hear a lawnmower outside I'd be freaked. There's always a lawnmower on in Greely. Even at 10pm.
But hurrah for rest! It feels like I've been working straight for two weeks. Got called in on the Wednesday last week and have been pretty much doing the same thing - organzing, labelling, taking stock of the convention leftovers while in an empty store that I'm pretty much badly allergic too. I was popping advil like House. Yikes.

Steph wants to go to another convention at the end of the summer - the Canadian National Expo, which is basically THE Canadian convention for comics, sci-fi, anime, geekdom. They usually have pretty big guests too - Adam Baldwin was there last year. When I didn't care. Now I wish I had. JAAAAAYNE. Gonna see if I can get an art table this year, and maybe go make fun of the Stars Wars nerds.

And Jayme wants to go to NewYork sometime this summer too. Which will be TOTALLY AWESOME. Haven't really fleshed out that plan too much yet though.

Also, as EVERYONE ELSE has pointed out, today is 6/6/06. It is also a Tuesday, which is traditionally my most unlucky of days. So far nothing bad's happened - except for the phone. DUN DUN DUN. We'll see at 6pm, aka 1800, aka 6+6+6. I'll either be eating dinner, or beng dinner to firey scorpions.

OMG WIG FIXING IS HARD SAD FACE :(

I'm currently going batshit, trying to get my Yachiru wig to work out. It's not working, not to mention that I ahve no idea what to do with my real hair once I put the wig on. I got it in a ponytail, but I'm obviously gonna need bobby pins or something. Otherwise my dark brown hair shows right through the bright pink wig.
Also, the wig makes my head looks huge.
I kinda want to cut my hair, so maybe I'll just shave it all off?

cyrillian_blue stopped into the shoppe today! Ironically, just as I was leaving to go run some errands! So I dragged him along and forced him to escort me on my missions. Except it was less force and more just him believing my car to be a death trap.

Was still fun though - haven't seen the boy in nearly what, a year? He hasn't changed a bit. Still tall, still geeky, still a jerk. HATE YOU.
