Well, over the weekend Spore leaked out and everyone and their dog is playing it. Except me. Poor, lonely little me, who only has a Mac (the leak was PC only) and unable to play on my new laptop because it's still in Halifax.
I don't fucking get the problem. I've phoned and emailed both Dell and Purolator a dozen times about this. I've gotten confirmation three times now that the address has been changed, two by email and once by phone. I had my glimmer of hope when the shipment went 'into transit' in the midweek, but then someone fucked up and it went back to Halifax where it's been sitting. I got a phone call Friday evening say that they had changed the address and will be phoning back to make sure I got it and I should get it Wednesday, but as of 10 this morning there's still zip, zilch, nadda.
I know I'll get it eventually. I just have to frustrate myself with endless phoning and emailing and checking and updating until whoever's fucking up gets it right and I have this laptop in my precious hands.
It's a damn good thing I only paid $100 for this thing. If I had paid full price and still didn't have it, I'd be burning buildings.

On the TDK viral front, a bunch of shit's happened. Harvey Dent won by a landslide, which you can see on the Gotham Tonight news show. Joke phones have been texted varous pictures relating to dominoes, the word 'commercial' and , leading to the discovery of Gotham City Pizzeria, a pro-Batman business, with a special on today. Word on the street? Batman costume cutouts on pizza boxes, available for purchase by themselves for a few dollars (there's four pieces total). It looks like you actually have to order the pizzas though - since these things always start mid-afternoon and that's when I start work, I'll be sitting it out anyway.
The Gotham Times has also updated with a vol 3, which is being sent out as well (hopefully my adress reroute catches that as well, I'd like to get my third copy of the paper). The Jokerised HaHaHa Times hasn't come out with it's own version yet.

Well, I've got a beautiful sunny day, cookies to back, an apartment to clean and boxes to unpack. Time to start the day.

So apparently today is Blog like it's the end of the world day, or Blog about zombies killing y'all. I had no idea, or I might've participated earlier. Seems near redundant to blog about it now that the day's nearly over. These things need to be more spread around! Or I need to be involved online? Something's at fault here.
Actually, zombies are probably one of my biggest phobias. I'm terrified at the very thought of zombies, because to me, it seems the most likely. (at least in a 28 Days virus/rabies sort of thing). I actually have a zombie escape plan, should the epidemic ever hit. I'm a paranoid geek.

Cat's doing fine, although I'm waking up to little balls of paper strewn on my bed, Kenobi sitting hopefully beside me, waiting for me to throw one. She's even more dog-like than Tama was. Not only do I attract Torti's, I attract ones with species confusion.
